• 5 Highlights of the MTV Movie Awards

If you didn’t watch the MTV Movie Awards last night (let’s face it, GoT was on), here are a few quick highlights that you can catch on YouTube.

    1. Mark Wahlberg‘s acceptance speech

Mark Wahlberg won the Generations Award last night, because apparently all of MTV’s viewers are 12 years old and think that Marky Mark is old. Whatever. He spent the majority of his speech dropping f-bombs, and it was pretty hilarious.

    2. The opening montage

Conan was a great choice to host, because he has no shame, mostly. The MTV Movie Awards montage is always a great tribute to all the terrible and awesome movies of the previous year, and this year was a particularly good one.

    3. Zac Efron getting stripped

Rita Ora stripped Zac Efron down for the shirtless performance award. It was a highly talked about moment you know, if you’re into that kind of thing.

    4. Eminem and Rihanna’s performance

Neither of these two are my faves but I will say this, watching this performance made me very sad that their concert in my city is very, very sold out.

    5. The Other Women present the male performance award

The stars of “The Other Woman” (Leslie Mann, Cameron Diaz, Kate Upton, and Nicki Minaj) presented this award with the kind of objectification you haven’t seen since Seth MacFarlane hosted the Oscars. Really, I’m just surprised that nobody has said they wanted to wolf down Leonardo DiCaprio’s Wall Street before.

Or, you can just watch MTV’s version of the show in 66 seconds here.
